Welsh Marches Line still blocked after train-tractor collision
The Marches Line is still blocked today after a collision between a train and a tractor trailer on a user-worked farm crossing in Herefordshire.
A 32-year old man was arrested on suspicion of endangering the safety of railway passengers following the crash near Leominster on Thursday morning.
Two people on the Transport for Wales train who received minor injuries were taken to hospital, but the tractor driver was unhurt and the train was not derailed. Rail Accident Investigation Branch inspectors have been gathering evidence at the crash site.
The line between Hereford and Shrewsbury is expected to remain closed this morning.
