THE RESTORATION & OPERATION OF 850 'LORD NELSON'. NEIL KEARNS.

Alone amongst a class of 16 locomotives designed by R.E.L. Maunsell, Lord Nelson is the only loco of the class to survive. It has been restored to steam three times in its preservation history and is due for another major overhaul following several years on main line & Mid Hants.
