Ian will describe the story of electrical pioneer Magnus Vokes, who opened his little electric railway on Brighton seafront in 1883, which is now the world's oldest working electric railway. The short lived "Daddy Long Legs", an electric railway that ran in the sea, will also be mentioned.

1963 was not only famous for Christine Keeler, for in August of that year a group of career criminals planned and carried out an audacious robbery by stopping Scottish Mail Train in the Buckinghamshire Countryside, badly injuring the driver, and relieved the train of over 2 million.
