The Second Reading of the Railways Bill does not appear in the Parliamentary calendar for today, although 11 November had been announced as the date.

The Bill which will create Great British Railways was given its First Reading on 5 November, but this was a formality introducing the Bill to Parliament, and it has yet be discussed by MPs in the chamber.

An announcement is now awaited about the revised date for the Second Reading, which will be the opportunity for a full debate.
