AYLESBURY Vale Parkway station is to open for business on 14 December, two years earlier than expected, giving customers less than an hour’s journey to London Marylebone.

Three miles north-west of Aylesbury on the A41, the £12 million interchange will incorporate bus park and ride and 500 parking spaces.

With rail upgrade work progressing well, contracts have now been awarded for construction of the station and car park.
