CrossCountry responds to RMT ballot

TALKS to solve a pay dispute between the RMT and CrossCountry are still continuing, the company said. The RMT has rejected a pay offer, saying that it is below RPI, and is to hold a ballot of its members. However, a spokesman for CrossCountry said: ‘The RMT may have begun balloting its members a short while ago, but we are still in discussion with the unions about the 2019 pay award and are hopeful this matter will be resolved shortly.’ A previous dispute over collective bargaining has only just been resolved, and two strikes were called off at the last moment.
