Two track workers killed by train

Network Rail says it is shocked and distressed, and co-operating with British Transport Police and the RAIB. The RMT described it as ‘an appalling tragedy’, while the TSSA has called for a full investigation. The incident occurred at 10.00 this morning near Margam, between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway stations. Train services in the area have been disrupted.
