A WALKOUT by drivers working for Arriva Trains Wales has been suspended.

Members of the RMT and ASLEF were due stop working at midnight in a dispute over pay and conditions.

ATW said there could be some minor 'service recovery issues' on Thursday, but that services would otherwise run normally.

It is understood that talks over the unions' claim will be continuing.
