(library picture of Class 802) GWR services recover after OHLE damage

Services between London Paddington and Reading are almost back to normal today, after 500m of overhead wire was brought down by a Hitachi Class 802 running under test on Tuesday evening. Network Rail engineers have been working to restore the damaged section at Hanwell, and most of the repairs were completed last night. However, Network Rail warned that some of the work remains to be completed, and so there could still be some disruption today.
