As a leading member of the Operations team, you will provide professional expertise in all areas of train operations, ensure that operational standards are met and that a thorough system of compliance checks is in place. Reporting to the Head of Operations Standards, you will provide technical support and guidance to line managers, ensure that competence standards for our staff carrying out safety critical work meet the required criteria, and assist in the setting of standards and monitoring of compliance.

This is a wide ranging role that demands a thorough knowledge of rules, operating instructions, industry standards and statutory legislation. You must have certified personal competence to drive and assess on traction, be an NVQ 3 accredited assessor holding a verification certificate and have signal sighting to committee level.
