Description
Freightliner Heavy Haul is the UK’s leading provider of rail freight services and solutions for the UK’s blue chip organisations bringing a fresh innovative approach to the bulk rail haulage market.
Due to our continual expansion and on going growth of our staff base a new managerial tier has been created. These new positions will be responsible for the management of various operational sites, however cross-cover will occur dependant on business requirements. Responsible for competency assessments of train drivers and ground staff these roles will also include an on-call commitment.
Previous experience and qualification in rail operations management and budgetary control is preferred but not essential.
Applicants must be qualified train drivers with five years experience, possess good communication skills and hold a current driving licence. Ideally applicants should also be D32/3 (or equivalent), Root Cause and TOLO qualified or willing to work towards such qualifications.
