Description
We have an opportunity within our Safety team to ensure that the London Midland Operational Safety Standards meets the legislative and industry standards. This role liaises closely with line managers on health and safety issues. You will perform audits and create detailed audit reports clearly identifying shortfalls and best practice, as well as assisting in the production of safety standards for London Midland. You will also assist in the creation and implementation of a detailed occupational and operational health and safety audit plan within the London Midland Fleet organisation. You will have knowledge of safety legislation and its application in the railway environment. Ideally you will also have experience in verification, safety related competence assessments, as well as railway vehicle, rail plant and machinery maintenance.
