Description
Our Drivers are at the sharp end of service delivery. We need to understand the issues and challenges they face as they try to ensure that trains arrive on time, every time. That’s why we need managers who work with them to find solutions, support them to acquire new knowledge, and involve them in what we’re working to achieve.
You’ll have overall responsibility for the driver operation within your area and for building a performance culture where ‘right first time, every time’ becomes second nature. You’ll manage the smooth and efficient running of the depot, drive the performance of your team, ensure the service delivery and resource planning, and meet your financial targets. Through an open, approachable, communicative and collaborative leadership style, you’ll raise standards, ensuring that drivers have the development support they need in order to deliver.
