Creating a safe and delightful travel experience will be your highest priority. Keeping local services running smoothly and safely, you’ll deliver a friendly, helpful, willing service at all times, whilst also checking that everyone has the right ticket and keeping people informed about the progress of their journey. You’ll help customers on and off the train and you’ll manage the train so that we exceed customers’ expectations in terms of comfort and attention.
We’re looking for people who are competent in Railway Rules, Regulations and Train Operations and take pride in delighting customers with top notch service. Always pleased to be able to help others, you’ll need a confident, outgoing personality, quiet authority, and a firm but fair approach. You must also be safety conscious and happy to work a roster including early, late, and weekend shifts.
