This role will support the Head of Stations in ensuring that our retail and safety compliance requirements are met and exceeded. The Station Support Manager will be the primary contact for all station interfaces which London Overground services use, and ensure station operators’ contractual obligations and targets are delivered.
The Stations Support Manager will manage the delivery of our station resources most efficiently and effectively through the Route Supports and ensure that the provision of customer information is accurate and timely from the Customer Information and CCTV controllers.
Successful applicants will need to be proactive, organised and have the ability to communicate with people on all levels. Strong managerial skills including leading and motivating staff, recruitment and selection, employee care and communication, training and development, conducting investigations and managing grievances, are essential.
Applicants will need to be flexible in terms of hours worked to meet the needs of the business on a day to day basis.
