More snow bring widespread disruption

EXTENSIVE overnight snow falls have brought more and widespread disruption to train services across England and Wales.

The latest reported situation is as follows.

Amendments to services

Chiltern Railways
Delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected on all routes to & from London Marylebone during the morning peak hours.
Services between London Marylebone and Stratford-upon-Avon will not run between Hatton and Stratford-upon-Avon, with no replacement transport available.
Aylesbury Vale Parkway station is closed. Services will start from and terminate at Aylesbury

CrossCountry
Delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected on all routes via Birmingham New Street during the morning peak hours

East Midlands Trains
Services between Norwich and Nottingham may be delayed by up to 60 minutes because of heavy snow in the Peterborough area

First Capital Connect - Great Northern Route
Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes between Peterborough and London Kings Cross because of heavy snow in the Peterborough area.
Services between Cambridge and London Kings Cross continue to be amended because of overhead wire problems at Hitchin

First Great Western
Thursday 5 February
Services between Bristol Temple Meads and Severn Beach have been suspended. No replacement transport will be provided due to poor road conditions
Services between Oxford and Bicester Town have been suspended.No replacement transport will be provided due to poor road conditions
Services from Cheltenham Spa to London Paddington will only run between Cheltenham Spa and Swindon, with connections available at Swindon to/from London Paddington.
Services between Frome and London Paddington will not run between Frome and Westbury. No replacement transport will be provided due to poor road conditions. No services are able to call at Frome. 
An hourly train service will run between Reading and Newbury
Additionally, the following trains will be amended:
06:49 Weston-super-Mare to London Paddington will start at Bristol Temple Meads
Passengers may travel on the 06:20 or 07:24 Weston-super-Mare to London Paddington services
07:09 Worcester Shrub Hill to Weymouth will start from Cheltenham Spa
Passengers are advised to travel on the 09:00 Worcester Shrub Hill to Westbury service

Hull Trains
Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes between Peterborough and London Kings Cross because of snow in the Peterborough area.

Grand Central
Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes between Peterborough and London Kings Cross because of snow in the Peterborough area.

London Midland
Delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected on all routes during the morning peak hours

London Overground
Services may be delayed by up to 20 minutes.
The following services have been cancelled:
07:27 Camden Road - Stratford
08:30 Camden Road - Stratford
07:59 Stratford - Camden Road
08:30 Stratford - Camden Road
09:03 Stratford - Richmond
06:53 Willesden Junction - Clapham Junction
07:17 Clapham Junction - Willesden Junction
09:47 Clapham Junction - Willesden Junction

National Express East Anglia

Delays of up to 60 minutes can be expected in the Norwich, Peterborough and Cambridge areas because of snow.
Services between Cambridge and Ipswich are currently suspended, with no replacement transport available.

National Express East Coast
Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes between Peterborough and London Kings Cross because of snow in the Peterborough area.

19:40 Leeds to London Kings Cross is cancelled
From London:
07:10 London Kings Cross to Leeds is cancelled
07:35 London Kings Cross to Leeds is cancelled
08:40 London Kings Cross to Leeds is cancelled
09:10 London Kings Cross to Leeds is cancelled
10:35 London Kings Cross to Leeds is cancelled
14:35 London Kings Cross to Leeds is cancelled
16:35 London Kings Cross to Leeds is cancelled
National Express East Coast customers may use East Midlands Trains services to and from London St Pancras in place of these cancelled services.

ScotRail
Services between Inverness and Aberdeen are subject to alterations and cancellations because of poor weather conditions. Customers are strongly advised not to attempt to travel
Other ScotRail routes and services are currently running normally

Virgin Trains
Services on all routes to and from London Euston are subject to delays of up to 30 minutes due to speed restrictions having been imposed. Services are also subject to alterations as follows:
The following trains will not run
03 minutes past each hour from London Euston to Birmingham New Street
50 minutes past each hour from Birmingham New Street to London Euston
20 minutes past each hour from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly
15 minutes past each hour from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston
The following trains will make additional stops
23 minutes past each hour from London Euston to Wolverhampton will call at Rugby
45 minutes past each hour from Wolverhampton to London Euston will call at Rugby
00 minutes past each hour from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly will call at Milton Keynes
35 minutes past each hour from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston will call at Milton Keynes.

Wrexham & Shropshire
Delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected on all routes to & from London Marylebone during the morning peak hours
